Started my working life on 23rd May 1978 in Technical Supplies, Singapore Airlines. My first job was Aircraft Parts Discrepany Report Assistant from 1978 to 1980. Managed to find my way to the prestigious Marketing Department as Tour Officer in 1981. Promoted to Senior Officer in 1984. Transferred to Tradedinds as Senior Tour Planning Officer in 1985 . Moved back to SIA in 1986 as Senior Officer, Advertising & Promotions. Left SQ in 1988 to join Insight Insternational Tours as Sales Manager SE Asia.
In between, I held various trade and community position at NATAS, TMIS, PATA, EASB, Ngee Ann Polytechnic,Singapore Bowling Federation and North West Community Development Council
